Statue Mumm-Ra - ThunderCats - MiniCo - Iron Studios

In the form known as the “Ever-Living”, the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra, with an ominous smile on his face, points his right hand as if he’s ready to cast energy bolts from his fingers. Whether against his great archenemies, the ThunderCats, or to punish his often-clumsy minions, the Mutants, Mumm-Ra, the iconic villain from the 1980s, gets a stylized Toy Art version in the statue "Mumm-Ra - ThunderCats – MiniCo" by Iron Studios. This figure is displayed on a pedestal that references his altar within the Black Pyramid.

Featuring characteristics of an Egyptian deity, the ancient mummified Mumm-Ra controls the darkest corners of the planet known as the Third Earth. When summoning the power of the four entities known as the “Ancient Spirits of Evil”, his bandages break apart, and he transforms into a decaying giant with blue-gray skin, a muscular body, and the appearance of a pharaoh. Adorned with a helmet and a symbol on his chest in the shape of two connected snakes, he wields great mystical powers linked to witchcraft. However, upon seeing his hideous reflection, he loses his strength and must return to the Pyramid, where he transforms back into his mummy form. As ThunderCats’ greatest villain, Mumm-Ra desires to possess the “Eye of Thundera”, a powerful gem that amplifies the strength of the feline heroes and their survivors from planet Thundera.

Developed by Rankin/Bass and based on characters created by Tobin “Ted” Wolf, ThunderCats was one of the most successful animated series of the 1980s, featuring three seasons and 180 episodes. Revealed on the Inside Iron Studios Day, the Mumm-Ra MiniCo statue is already available for Pre-Order and expands the ThunderCats MiniCo collection released by Iron Studios.
